  • Neighbourhood Planning Launch and survey details – UPDATE

UPDATE – The postcards will be delivered to every household in Ormesby, Scratby and California by the end of next week.

The delay in getting these to everyone is due to the latest lockdown restrictions and the  ‘stay at home’ message. The neighbourhood planning team had intended to post these through the letterboxes ourselves at the beginning of January but due to the ‘stay at home’ message, we didn’t think it appropriate to do this.   We have managed to secure an additional grant that has enabled us to get these delivered to you by royal mail.

Please do complete the survey, it’s very easy and takes no more than 10 minutes and is an important document for the future of our villages.

Please do contact us if you wish for assistance to complete the survey.  We can call you back and go through the survey with you over the telephone if that’s easier for you.

    Details on the poster below.

ORMESBY, SCRATBY AND CALIFORNIA NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

We are today launching the neighbourhood plan via our website and social media channels.  We were hoping to be able to do a postcard drop to every household at the beginning of January, but the new national lockdown restrictions have delayed this delivery, as well as the distribution of posters around the villages. We are currently looking at alternative ways of getting these to every household as soon as possible.

If you know of any neighbours that are not on social media or have access to our website/internet, could you please let us know on neighbourhoodplanning@ormesby.org and we can post a hard copy of the survey with a return stamped addressed envelope to them.

Neighbourhood Planning gives communities direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of their local area.  The plan will be a key planning document produced by residents to influence the future type and location of development in our villages.

This is the opportunity for all residents to complete the survey to have their say on the future of their villages. The details to complete the survey can be found on the poster below.  We have also attached the survey documents that can be printed off and completed.

We have also attached two documents which give more information on what Neighbourhood Planning is and the next steps once the survey has been completed.

PLEASE COMPLETE THE SURVEY AS THIS EFFECTS THE FUTURE OF YOUR VILLAGES.
