    Ormesby St Margaret with Scratby Parish Council
    Finance and General Purpose (F &G.P.) meeting on Tuesday 25th April at 2pm at
    All Saints Parish Hall, Scratby

    Attendance: Councillors Jim Shrimplin, Geoff freeman, Kathryn Wendt and
    Claire Fraser RFO.
    1. Apologies for absence: Councillor Phil Nathan

    2. Declarations of Interest
    Councillors are invited to declare a previously undisclosed interest relating to items
    on the agenda. None.

    Income – agree invoicing system for the year to inc Beach Huts (Kathryn to find the
    beach hut file), Ice cream van and Allotments. Claire Fraser has set up a new system
    for invoicing and designed a new Invoice. Agreed by all.
     Year End figures – Claire Fraser informed that the figures 31.03.23 all balanced.
     Appoint Internal Auditor – Councillor Freeman actioning this.
     Asset Register – Geoff is contacting two insurance companies
     Financial Risk Assessment- Claire Fraser is doing this.
     To approve payment of £60.00 for 1 ton of type 1 for the allotments – Approved.
     Insurance values – Councillor Nathan had produced a list, the majority of the parish
    council’s assets need upgrading. Further work is being done on this.
     Duck pond monies – There needs to be a discussion regarding monies of £130.50,
    which was given by parishioners for the upkeep of the duck pond, which is now
    sitting in the Ormesby Events Group bank account.
     Any other financial issues to discuss (bearing in mind purdah)
     External bank accounts. Councillor Freeman has been doing risk assessments on the
    parish council bank accounts. It was found that the Nat West Bank was not in the
    parish council’s name and therefore Geoff has changed it to be in the parish
    council’s name/address. Councillor Freeman will immediately get the account
    signatories changed to Councillors Nathan, Freeman and Wendt. Approved for
    immediate action.
