You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Ormesby St Margaret with Scratby Parish Council at All Saints Parish Hall Scratby NR29 3AJ on Monday 15th May 2023 immediately following the Annual Parish Meeting

Confirmation of Declaration of Acceptance of Office by Parish Councillors.

1. Election of Chair and Vice Chair
(i) Resolution to hold a vote on a show of hands and to dispense with 3(f) of the
Standing orders concerning the chair’s discretion to hold a secret ballot
(proposer and seconder)
(ii) Election of Chair (proposer and seconder)
(iii) Election of Vice-Chair (proposer and seconder)
2. To receive apologies for absence

3. To receive declarations of interest on matters on the agenda
You have a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest in a matter to be discussed if it relates to
something on your Register of Interests form. You must declare your interest; you may not
participate in discussion or vote on the matter.
You have a Personal Interest in a matter to be discussed if it affects:
 Your wellbeing or financial position
 That of your family or close friends
 That of a club or society in which you have a management role.
In these instances, you must declare a personal interest and may speak on the matter only if
members of the public are also allowed to speak at the meeting, however you may not vote
in the matter.

5. Approve minutes of the Parish Council meeting of 17th April 2023

The Chair will move to suspend the council meeting
6. Public Participation Forum– an opportunity for the public to address the council – 10
minutes.
Subject to standing Order 3g a member of the public shall not speak for more than 3
minutes.
The Chair will reconvene the meeting
